Had a wonderful time last Saturday as a special guest at the Brent Shapiro Foundation Fundraiser held in Beverly Hills at the most beautiful and giant estate I have ever seen. Sirena Models had 8 models in the Baracci Runway Fashion Show with absolutely gorgeous dresses and lingerie, including the famous Beyonce Wedding Dress used in her video, “Best Thing I Never Had“.
I attended the gala with my modeling agent Charlotte Wild and Jason Wild, owners of Sirena Models here in L.A. We were served a 5 Star dinner and dessert catered by Wolfgang Puck and went backstage before the show to visit with Jill Baracci, the gifted designer, and the models as they were preparing for the show. I am being sent more pictures from the show I will post in the next day or two.

On the way to do a nature fashion shoot we drove past this El Royale Motel, located on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. Inspired by the location and the look of this little unusual motel I had to hop out the car and do a quick impromptu shoot.
With about 15 tiny red roof bungalows situated around an empty lot make makes you feel like you are back in time to a different era. It was clear to see it would make unique spot for pictures and a cool location for shooting movies as well. After a bit of research I found out this little Motel was used to represent a cheap hotel in Mexico for the fourth season of the OC. It was also featured in movies like: Angel, Boogie Nights, Fool For Love, and television series like CSI.
I could not imagine spending a night at this little motel but I sure enjoyed snapping a picture or two against the vintage looking walls.
We scoured the hills of Malibu this day searching for the perfect burnt out home or concrete structure for this fallen angel to land, but found very little. The housing boom of of 2003-2007 turned those burned out structures back into beautiful multi-million dollar mansions once again.
I may be a little angel on most days but for this high fashion shoot I am no innocent creature you may be visualizing.
Yes, this angel has sinned, at least for a couple hours or so.
Although, I must say this character felt pretty natural and comfortable for me..
Like many girls I am a Jeans & T-shirt Kind of Girl. There is nothing better than a comfy pair of jeans and well, jeans.. They matched my eyes perfectly so I figured Ill skip the matching shirt.
Jeans alone is a huge topic to discuss and I could go on for hours. The best thing about jeans is that you can wear them for any occasion. Either casual wear, a nightclub, or a semi-formal social occasion throwing a pair of high heels or flashy belt can transform your casual pair into something more elegant.
Finding a pair of jeans that fit perfectly is not an easy task. I found these jeans by TRF Denim Rules at Zara in Europe a while back and I cant get enough of their perfect fit and feel.
Last month I was in the shoot for the winter line of Donna by Dona Vinci, an LA based clothing company. This fun shoot was in a studio with computer generated backdrops. It is funny shooting in the summer for a winter line of clothes. I am, however, a huge fan of their colorful leg warmers!
I am always anxious to see how the pictures turn out for any catalog modeling job that I do. Sometimes I can’t wait long enough for the catalog to come out and decided to browse on-line to see if I can find any pictures. Luckily, I found some shots from this shoot. I Ill be sharing more pictures soon from other fun modeling jobs that I do!
